I’ve spoken with so many people who carry guilt because they met their Twin Flame—or even a twin flame catalyst—while they were already in a committed relationship. They feel like they betrayed their partner, cheated, or could have handled everything better.
If this is you, I want to offer you another perspective.
Sometimes a relationship has served its purpose. It was part of your journey, and it helped you become the person you are today. But then you meet someone who awakens your heart in a way you’ve never experienced before.
Whether it was your true Twin Flame or a twin flame catalyst, that connection wakes you up. It makes it impossible to ignore the places where you’ve settled, disconnected from yourself, or accepted less than the love God has for you.
You didn’t choose for those feelings to arise. They simply did.
Did everything unfold perfectly? Maybe not. Looking back, you may wish you had handled things differently, more perfectly. Wrapped things up in your current relationship before having these deep feelings and experiences with your Twin Flame person. Maybe there are things you would do differently today.
That’s okay. It doesn’t mean you were wrong. You did the best you could with the awareness you had at the time. God wasn’t expecting perfection. He knew your journey would teach you, stretch you, and ultimately lead you closer to Him and to love.
Your Twin Flame—or even your false twin—came into your life to awaken you. To show you that deeper love exists. To call you into greater authenticity. To begin your ascension journey.
Your Twin Flame journey is ultimately between you and God. No one else fully knows your heart, your circumstances, or the lessons God has been teaching you.
While we can always learn from our past and take responsibility for our choices, we don’t have to live under the weight of shame or guilt EVER. God’s grace is greater than your mistakes.
