I know a lot of people have this question in their minds: If my Twin Flame just knew that we were Twin Flames, would that improve things between us? Would they finally realise that we are perfect for each other?
In January 2020, I invited my Twin Flame on a walk because I had some news for him… the news that we were Twin Flames. I wasn’t exactly sure how it would go, but I was feeling pretty bold at the time, like, “Why not?”
It was nighttime. We walked down the street under some soft streetlights and ended up sitting at a park bench. I didn’t really know the best way to say it, so I just told him — we were Twin Flames.
The dude was delighted. A little shocked, but also in delighted agreement. He’d actually been wanting me to be his girlfriend for some time (I had an inkling). He hugged me and told me he would do his best to be the best partner ever. And that was that — our life as a commited unit together began.
The spiritual journey didn’t get change after attaining Union. I still had to work through my upsets and heal my blocks — actually, the healing sped up. Union doesn’t mean the work stops. It speeds up, because now you journey together toward Harmonious Twin Flame Union and perfect Union.
So how did it go so well for me? His response was probably what most people hope their Twin Flame would have.
The truth is…it had nothing to do with me telling him that awakend him to our connection. He was aware of it to the degree I was within myself. It was the inner foundation I had laid by committing to this journey. For two years leading up to that moment, I was dedicated to the Teachings of Union by Twin Flames Universe. I healed every upset that arose within myself to the best of my ability using the Mirror Exercise. I attended Twin Flame Ascension School weekly and joined discussion groups where we collectively healed through spiritual upsets and blockages on our Twin Flame journeys.
My Twin Flame and I also had no expectations of each other over the span of our relationship leading up to realising we were Twin Flames. We started out as roommates, and grew into two people who were just side by side, doing our own thing — but somehow, together. He was sweet, helped me through hardships unconditionally, which made it really easy for me to accept him as my Twin Flame when it was revealed. Unconditional love is another essential key for it to work out with your Twin Flame.
The reason it went so well was because of the spiritual journey we’d each taken prior, and because we chose to love one another. Loving one another was easy. You just be yourself. Love yourself. It’s natural.
So don’t worry or feel anxious about needing to tell your Twin Flame that you’re Twin Flames to awaken them. That’s not what’s going to awaken them. It’s your love for yourself — and your love for them — that will.
