A post inspired by lessons I’ve learned in Twin Flame Ascension School, and my own Twin Flame journey.
There might be stretches in your Twin Flame journey that feel heavy or dark. Times when persitent doubts and uncomfortable feelings rise up. You may wonder if you’re doing it right, if you or your Twin Flame truly have the right intentions, or even if love itself is real.
But this darkness is not caused by yourself, your Twin Flame, or the journey itself. What you’re experiencing is the ego—separation consciousness—coming up to be released. It’s clearing out so that love consciousness, the foundation of your Union, can take its place.
Remember: you weren’t created with an ego. You were created in the image of God, and with that you hold God-like power—the infinite power of choice. You can use that power to imagine separation from God and, as a result, from your Twin Flame. But no matter what you choose, you can never truly cut yourself off from God or your Twin Flame. God never created you to be able to separate completely from Him because He loves you.
There is only so far anyone can wander into the illusion of separation, because being apart from your true divine self is so unnatural. That’s why, eventually, every soul finds its way back home—to God, to themselves, to their Twin Flame, to love.
Think about it: how could you ever truly be separate from God, when you are His child an extension of Him? In Twin Flame Ascension School, Jeff shares that the one child of God—all of us together—is like God’s own Twin Flame. That bond is eternal. There could never be real separation.
The illusion of darkness that comes up to be released is so tiny, so powerless, compared to the infinite love and divinity you truly are. In the scope of eternity, this experiment with separation isn’t even a blip.
So how could this darkness mean anything or create real distance between you and your Twin Flame? It can’t. Your Union is eternal. Only love is real.
